ONLY 15 MORE DAYS UNTIL SAFF!
Join us at the Southeast Animal Fiber Fair in Asheville, NC. It's my favorite event of the year, not just because it's minutes away from our childhood home, but also because the views are breathtaking! We will be featuring some new loom designs we have been creating in partnership with Madeline's Makery, as well as some autumnal-inspired hand-dyed roving. Come for the day, stay for the weekend!
Friday-Sunday, Oct. 23-25th WNC Agricultural Center Fletcher, NC
EVEN BIGGER NEWS!
We are excited to share the news that we will be sharing space with the Chicago Center for Craft starting in November! The space will allow us to host workshops, provide showroom space for some of our products, and offer equipment rental options. Our co-sharing relationship supports the Chicago Center for Craft's exhibition and educational programs. Additionally, our neighbors include Chicago's LMRM! Stay tuned for an open house artist-member event in December!
New Location Starting Nov. 1st! 2003 W. Fulton St., #408 Chicago, IL 60612
NEW IN THE STORE
Fall is definitely here, and we are inviting the season in with open arms as we prepare a wonderful line-up of hand-dyed roving to spin for that perfect sweater. This Colombian-Rambouillet blend is ideal for the everyday sweater that will get a lot of wear, as it holds up beautifully. This roving comes from a family farm in Nebraska and is approximately 23-25 microns in fineness, making it wonderfully soft wool perfect for hats, mittens, gloves, sweaters, and any other item you can imagine. Each braid is approximately 4 oz (we usually try to go over when weighing) and is dyed individually, making each one a true work of art.
