What's happening in the studio...
Where is the summer going? It's hard to believe August is already here. We have been busy doing the "fun" stuff of operating a business, such as inventory, developing new products (that actually is fun!), and planning our upcoming events this fall. Check them out and plan to come out to see what we have in store!
MICHIGAN FIBER FESTIVAL

If you are looking for a road trip this summer, come out and see us at the Michigan Fiber Festival! We will be revealing some of our new products for the season, including several DIY natural dye kits such as this indigo dye kit. Only available at our markets, so it's worth the trip! Only a 2.5-hour drive from metro-Chicago, the Michigan Fiber Festival is a great opportunity to see not only fiber of all kinds, but animals too.
Friday-Sunday, August 14-16 Allegan County Fairgrounds, MI
CHICAGO TEXTILE FAIR
Textile Fair October 9 & 10 & 11, 2026
The Plant. 1400 W 46th St Suite 211, Chicago, IL 60609

Join the Chicago Textile Center for a weekend of programming celebrating Chicagoland fiber and textile artists. This year's theme, Sustainable Communities, connects programming across three days of inspiration, community, and education. Considered Cloth and the Chicago Center for Craft are proud supporters of this incredible textile-filled weekend.
JOIN US AT THE CHICAGO CULTURAL CENTER

Stay tuned for exciting news as we partner with the Chicago Center for Craft this fall to lead exciting programming at the Learning Lab at the Chicago Cultural Center. Considered Cloth will be on site during October, November, and December, offering free drop-in fiber skill-sharing events. We are still finalizing the details, but plan to stop by to see what we are up to and learn more about the Chicago Center for Craft.
