ITO Serishin is a luxurious silk yarn with a beautiful sheen and a unique structure in which individual silk threads form a flat yarn, also called silk raffia. It appears to be raffia-like at first, but becomes very soft when knitted and forms a flowing, elegant fabric. It behaves like a silk ribbon and can add a wonderful texture and sheen to any handwoven or knitted fabric. Due to the cost of this item, it is on a pre-order basis only.
