We are excited to be one of the very few local distributors for Harrisville's wool yarn that comes in two sizes: Shetland and Highland. We currently have almost the entire inventory of the Shetland yarn, which comes in 64 colors. If you are new to this yarn, you will love it for the heathered appearance as Harrisville combines wonderful colors together in the spinning process. Ideal for weaving, but knits up wonderfully as well. We also use it for tapestry weaving as you can blend so many different colors together!
The wool is a blend of an Australian fine wool and a hearty New Zealand wool that gives the yarn its luster. Harrisville Shetland is spun more tightly on the spinning frames (higher turns per inch), so it is highly durable and will wear better and better every year.
100% Virgin Wool.
